Brooklyn's first and only Combat Sambo club, coached by renowned master Boris Talis, the only three time world champion.

Sambo stands for "Self Defense Without Weapons". It was originally developed in USSR for exclusive use by military and special operation commandos.

After being declassified in late 40's it became a dominant martial art in soviet Russia. It is rooted in ancient fighting styles such as Judo and Jiu-Jitsu, but is focused on most efficent and effective techniques for real life situations.
